ProposedDENMARK'S UNDER-15 BILL IS OUT FOR CONSULTATION UNTIL 5 OCTOBER 2026. The Agency for Digital Government published the draft law on an age limit for children's access to certain digital services on 7 September 2026 (hearing 71440). It sets 15 as the minimum age for profiles on social networks and video platforms that the European Commission has designated as very large online platforms and that require a login; professional networks are exempt. The ministry names the national digital identity wallet as a way to check age. The government says the bill goes to the Folketing in early 2027 and would take effect on 1 July 2027. Not yet law. Not established: whether 13- and 14-year-olds can join with parental consent, which authority enforces it, and what the fines are.
