Senate Enrolled Act 17, signed by Gov. Holcomb March 13, 2024; effective July 1, 2024 (1/3-content adult standard, AG enforcement, civil penalties up to $250,000). A federal judge preliminarily enjoined it June 28, 2024, but the 7th Circuit stayed that injunction Aug 16, 2024. After the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Texas's law in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton (June 27, 2025), the 7th Circuit vacated the injunction and the case was dismissed. AG Rokita is now enforcing it -- he sued Aylo/Pornhub in December 2025.
